MATCHBOX BM-6, Fire Rescue Mechanised Fire Engine

Manufactured 1972-1974

A good example of this early 1970's mechanical Matchbox set in excellent condition. Gleaming paintwork on fire engine is near mint, some wear on cab roof from contact with ladder, please study the photos for exact condition. Comes with plastic building.

Introduced in 1972, there were six models in the range, all of which had been modified with ‘drive points’ which operated the moving parts when powered by the separate ‘Power Activator’. The plastic accessory dioramas also had drive points that could be driven by the activator. Activator not included in this set but I am selling a boxed one separately.

Comes in its original picture box which has all flaps attached. Some general age related wear to edges and corners and small tears, please study the photos.
